Legendary Duo Explores Romance in a Five-Track Release
| San Juan, Puerto Rico – The celebrated Puerto Rican duo J-King and Maximan take listeners on an emotional journey with their new EP, “Lágrimas Del Cora.” This acoustic production beautifully showcases the duo’s impressive versatility, bringing out the pure essence of acoustic music through narratives centered on love and romance. Featuring deep, heartfelt performances and honest storytelling, the esteemed urban duo dives into themes of romance while experimenting with various genres in this five-track “unplugged” EP. “Lágrimas Del Cora” sees the “Kings of Perreo” sharing personal love stories through a creative blend of Latin rhythms, including reggae, ska, reggaeton, cumbia, and urban merengue. The nostalgic longing to revisit past moments with a special someone is captured in the promotional single “Dedícame Un Minuto.” The romantic sentiments of “Estrellita” and the heartbreak theme in “Sr. Juez” are integral to the EP’s rhythmic evolution, which also includes the previously unreleased tracks “Me Gustas Tú” and “La Conversación.” J-King and Maximan’s vocal prowess stands out against the backdrop of live instrumentation, which enriches each song with harmonious bass, acoustic and electric guitars, live drums, and Latin percussion.
