Urbano royalty Eladio Carrión remains riding high with the video for “Tata,” the latest song to come off his successful full-length project Monarca. “Tata” finds Carrion exchanging verses with reggaeton giant J Balvin.
Directed by José Sagaro and production company Film Heads—who have been behind the lenses for past Carrión tracks “Mariposas” and “Todo o Nada”—”Tata” finds Carrión and Balvin swagging it up in New York City, delivering their swag and flow, matching the songs’ drill beat—marking the first time that both Eladio and Balvin dabble in this genre—to turn up the energy to power up any party with its rhythm and lyrical excellence.

“Tata” is the latest standout track from Monarca to get a visual from the Latin Grammy-nominee. The album made the top spots of Billboard, Spotify, and Apple Music’s Latin charts on its first week due to the success of songs like “Todo o Nada,” “Progreso,” “Mariposas,” and the star-studded “ELE UVE (Remix),” which has been viewed more than 16 million times on YouTube. Monarca features Carrión collaborating with such artists as Yandel, Natanael Cano, Ovi, Lunay, and Cazzu, among others.
Eladio Carrión continues his successful streak that also includes his Latin Grammy nomination for “Kemba Walker,” a track that also features Bad Bunny, as well as more than 400 million streams and 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and views of over 349 million on his YouTube channel.
“Tata” reaffirms Eladio Carrión’s place as one of the top Latinx artists in 2021 and continues his engagements with listeners the world over.
