El dúo de artista-producción COASTCITY estrena un video inspirado en los noventas enfatizando un día típico de un paseo en bote en Miami, FL con su último sencillo “Contigo” junto a la estrella emergente del trap Fuego y la cantautora Nat’Lee.
Dirigido por Marcos Ruiz, también conocido como Framegod (Farruko, Rick Ross, Darell, Arcangel), el video realmente captura el estilo de vida náutico de Miami. “Para este video no queríamos complicar la historia visual, sino concentrarnos en lo que es un verdadero y divertido paseo en barco en Miami con amistades. Pensamos que complementaba la sensación y el ambiente de la canción y además, queríamos que el mundo viera de qué se tratan los fines de semana en Miami,” cuenta Jean Rodríguez, vocalista principal y productor.
El sencillo presenta la prometedora artista Cubano-Americana Nat’Lee, la cuál se dio a conocer cuando fue finalista en Yo Soy El Artista en Telemundo y al artista de trap Domimicano-Americano, Fuego, ampliamente respetado por artistas en el espacio Latino por ser innovador dentro de la música urbana y popularizar su propia fusión del mambo caribeño con sonidos urbanos. La canción, que fue producida junto a DVLP (Lil Wayne, Eminem, J Balvin, Anitta, C. Tangana), e indiscutiblemente captura la esencia del Caribe, estableciendo aún más al dúo puertorriqueño como los pioneros de “Soul caribeño”.

Artist-production duo COASTCITY release a vibey 90’s inspired video focused on a typical day boating in Miami, FL with latest single “Contigo” featuring rising Trap star Fuego and songstress Nat’Lee.
Directed by Marcos Ruiz aka Framegod (Farruko, Rick Ross, Darell, Arcangel), the video truly embodies the Miami lifestyle. “For this video we didn’t want to complicate the storyline but rather focus on what a real & fun Miami boat hang with friends is. We felt that would better compliment the feel and vibe of the song and wanted the world to see what Miami weekends are all about,” says Jean Rodriguez, main vocals and producer.
The single features the promising Cuban-American artist Nat’Lee who made a name for herself as a finalist in Telemundo’s Yo Soy El Artista and Dominican-American Trap artist, Fuego, widely respected by artists in the Latin space for being ahead of the urban Latin music curve and popularizing his own fusion of Caribbean mambo with urban sounds. The song which was co-produced with DVLP(Lil Wayne, Eminem, J Balvin, Anitta, C. Tangana), undeniably captures the essence of the Caribbean further establishing the Puerto Rican duo as the pioneers of “Soul caribeño.”
