| Los Angeles’ popular ska reggae band Raskahuele is back with their new passionate ska single “Mi Turno,” ahead of performing the highly anticipated Scratch And Sniff Fest 2026 in Los Angeles, CA, on June 7. The new track was composed by Rodrigo Bonilla of Panteón Rococó. “Mi Turno” is a social issue that arises in everyday life and in romantic yet toxic relationships. It tells the story of a character who is tired of his partner’s betrayal and lies until he decides to speak up, put a stop to it, and demand to be heard—even though he knows their relationship is on the line. Rhythmically, the passionate song highlights the band’s brass and percussion, bringing their high energy to the floor. Known for their social-political and emigrant issues, as well as interpersonal relationships and love, “Mi Turno” adds another personal and resonating track into the band’s rich and danceable repertoire. “A good friend once told me: ‘Songs are useless if they’re just sitting in a drawer or a folder on your computer—they need to be heard.’ There are songs that might not be right for their time or artist, but soon it will be this song’s turn, performed by Raskahuele, the leading figure of ska in Los Angeles and the United States,” the song’s lyricist and composer, Rodrigo Bonilla (Gorri) of Panteón Rococó, said about the track. El nuevo tema fue compuesto por Rodrigo Bonilla, de Panteón Rococó. “Mi Turno” es un tema social del día a día en la vida, en las relaciones amorosas y a la vez tóxicas, narra un personaje que está cansado de la traición y las mentiras de su pareja hasta que él decide alzar la voz y poner un alto y exige ser escuchado, aunque él sabe que su relación está en juego. Rítmicamente, esta canción apasionada destaca los instrumentos de viento y la percusión de la banda, que aportan gran energía a la pista de baile.
