Los Angeles, CA (September 23, 2025) – For quite some time now, Juan Campodónico‘s music has been captivating diverse audiences around the world. His creative stamp has been present in the fascinating combination of tango and milonga with electronic music by the Bajofondo collective, which he founded together with Gustavo Santaolalla; in the mix of hip hop and rock by Peyote Asesino; and in his Campo project, where he continued to explore popular culture from an indie pop aesthetic. He has also enjoyed a multi-award-winning career as a producer alongside artists such as Jorge Drexler, Cuarteto de Nos, Zoe Gotusso, No Te Va Gustar, and Kevin Johansen, among many others.
Now Juan is embarking on a new phase under his own name, with a very personal album that allows us to appreciate him in a more intimate setting. His artistic sensibility, previously spread across different projects, is now united in this new setting. This closeness brings a personal story into focus and blurs the background, where echoes of Bajofondo’s electronica, Campo’s indie, and Peyote’s hip hop can be heard, but it is he who is at the center of the image.
The album title can be interpreted in several ways. It is both an introspective distancing and a search for the essential. Within the philosophical nod that Todo Esto Tampoco Soy Yo suggests is also the idea that this is not a ‘solo’ album, but rather the work of a creator who marks the vision and sensitivity of a greater work. The collaborations with Jorge Drexler, Sebastián Teysera, Eli Almic, Josean Log, Zeballos, and Cami Rodríguez show Juan as a medium who seeks to capture ideas and sensibilities that are in the air and speak to us all.

the electronic vein of ‘Onda Expansiva’ and ‘Romántico’, passing through the cinematic and orchestral touches of ‘Milo’ or the experimentation of ‘El Pinar’ and ‘De Un Fulgor a Otro’; the album takes us on a sonic journey where Juan combines all his influences with a new perspective, creating something totally new.
Before, his image was glimpsed among the reflections in the glass of the recording studio. Now we see Juan Campodónico clearly, and when we listen to Todo Esto Tampoco Soy Yo, we feel that everything we liked is still there, but there is a new character speaking to the camera.

Los Angeles, CA (23 de septiembre, 2025) – Desde hace un buen tiempo la música de Juan Campodónico viene cautivando a públicos muy variados alrededor del mundo. Su sello creativo ha estado presente en la fascinante conjunción de tango y milonga con música electrónica del colectivo Bajofondo que fundó junto a Gustavo Santaolalla, en la mezcla de hip hop y rock de Peyote Asesino, o en su proyecto Campo, donde siguió la exploración de la cultura popular desde una estética indie pop. También en su multipremiada carrera de productor junto a artistas como Jorge Drexler, Cuarteto de Nos, Zoe Gotusso, No Te Va Gustar o Kevin Johansen, entre muchos otros.
Ahora Juan comienza una etapa con su propio nombre, en un álbum muy personal donde lo podemos apreciar con un encuadre más cercano. Se puede ver su sensibilidad artística antes repartida en distintos proyectos, unida en este nuevo encuadre. Esta cercanía pone en foco un relato personal y desenfoca el fondo dónde suenan ecos de la electrónica de Bajofondo, del indie de Campo, del hip hop de Peyote, pero es él quien está en el centro de la imagen.
El título del disco puede tener varias lecturas posibles. Es a la vez un distanciamiento introspectivo y una búsqueda de lo esencial. Dentro del guiño filosófico que plantea Todo Esto Tampoco Soy Yo está también la idea de que este no es un disco ‘solista’, sino el trabajo de un creador que marca la visión y la sensibilidad de un trabajo mayor. Antes su imagen se vislumbraba entre los reflejos del vidrio del estudio de grabación.
