Los Aptos will perform at the first-ever MIGO FESTIVAL that will be celebrated in New York on October 11
After surprising their fans with their heartfelt song “Hasta La Eternidad,” the genre-defying Mexican American trio LOS APTOS is following the same vein with their new indie pop and música mexicana ballad, “Puerta.” The band also announced their upcoming festival performance at the inaugural Migo Festival in New York on October 11.
Los Aptos are known for their genre-bending tracks that mesh indie pop, sierreño, and hints of alternative rock. With “Puerta,” they continue to prove why they’re one of the most exciting música mexicana artists, paving their own innovative path by highlighting their signature sierreño and indie elements that make them stand out in the popular genre. “The song ‘PUERTA’ talks about a toxic relationship where both people know they’re doing each other more harm than good, but it’s hard to let go,” Los Aptos’ vocalist and songwriter, Juan Ortega, said about the new track. “They’d rather suffer than not feel the love they have. Use the door as a metaphor, saying that the doors of their lives are always open to the other person.”
The new track comes with news that Los Aptos will perform at the first-ever Migo Festival that will be celebrated in New York on October 11. Los Aptos will share the stage with widely known Mexican music artists like Netón Vega and Chino Pacas. Earlier this year, the skyrocketing group also performed at Napa Valley’s La Onda Fest, alongside Mexican icons such as Marco Antonio Solís, Banda MS, and Pepe Aguilar, as well as an electrifying performance at Foro Indie Rocks in Mexico City.
“Puerta” and their previous single, “Hasta La Eternidad,” come after the release of Temporadas earlier this year (May 30). The conceptual 12-track album showcased the trio’s new genre-bending era, featuring genres like indie, regional, pop, country, alternative, and more. It included hit singles like “La Nena,” “La Top Uno,” “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Dices Me Extrañas,” and “Tal Vez.”

Después de sorprender a sus fans con su emotiva canción “Hasta La Eternidad”, el trío mexicano-estadounidense LOS APTOS, que desafía los géneros musicales, sigue la misma vena con su nueva balada de indie pop y música mexicana, “Puerta”. La banda también ha anunciado su próxima presentación en el festival inaugural Migo Festival, que se celebrará en Nueva York el 11 de octubre.
Los Aptos son conocidos por sus temas que fusionan indie pop, sierreño y toques de rock alternativo. La nueva canción viene acompañada de la noticia de que Los Aptos participarán en el primer Migo Festival, que se celebrará en Nueva York el 11 de octubre.
