| Los Angeles, CA. — Following the release of their fifth album Temporadas, the innovative Mexican-American LOS APTOS is back with a surprise sierreño heartfelt ballad called “Hasta La Eternidad.” With “Hasta La Eternidad,” Los Aptos return to their signature sound: emotional música mexicana accompanied by vocalist and songwriter Juan Ortega’s distinctive, gentle croons. This time, the band adds playful synthesizers that help innovate the sentimental track about yearning to be with someone for the rest of your life. With verses like “Contigo quiero estar / Hasta la eternidad / Vivir juntos hasta que la muerte nos separe / Pensé que iba a estar bien sin ti / Disfrutar de la vida, viajar y gozar / Pero nada es igual sin ti / Nada pega igual sin ti,” Ortega pours his soul into his songwriting and crafts yet another sierreño ballad hit to add to his band’s already rich repertoire. “Hasta La Eternidad” comes on the heels of dropping Temporadas earlier this year (May 30). The conceptual 12-track album showcased the trio’s new genre-bending era, featuring genres like indie, regional, pop, country, alternative, and more. It included hit singles like “La Nena,” “La Top Uno,” “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Dices Me Extrañas,” and“Tal Vez.” Beyond the critically acclaimed album release, the skyrocketing group also played essential events this year, including Napa Valley’s La Onda Fest, alongside Mexican icons such as Marco Antonio Solís, Banda MS, and Pepe Aguilar, as well as an electrifying performance at Foro Indie Rocks in Mexico City. |
